High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a thermoplastic material which is supplied by
the manufacturer in a ‘ready to use’ pelletised form. The grades suitable for pipe
manufacture are PE 63, PE 80 and PE100. The pipe manufacturer converts this
material into pressure pipe.
